Nucleus PLUS* for the Intel i960® microprocessor family is an advanced real-time multitasking executive based on Accelerated Technology's Nucleus RTX* product. Nucleus PLUS extends the already full featured Nucleus RTX environment to include dynamic creation of all Nucleus PLUS objects, variable length queues, mailboxes, timers pipes, priority of FIFO driven waiting lists for all Nucleus PLUS objects, and the Advanced Interrupt Management Mechanism (AIMM) which virtually eliminates interrupt latencies.
